Delivering a team that consistently meets goals for productivity and customer service. Ensuring the daily, weekly and period meat department financial goals are met. Knowledge of Meat operation and Meat preparation area. Managing product flow. Responsible to execute all processes and corporate programs to company standards. Ensuring training curriculum is completed and up to date for all department team members. Being accountable to company sanitation and safety procedures. Being accountable to inventory control, quality and freshness date coding procedures. Effectively managing conflict to achieve desired business results.
Requirements
Knowledge of weights, measures, and handling of perishable product. Proven leadership skills. Knowledge of product presentation and packaging. Excellent listening and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize work load. Working knowledge of policies and procedures. Ability to hold others accountable for results in an appropriate and effective manner. Ability to maintain positive working relationships. Flexibility to try new procedures. Ability and desire to work flexible hours.
