ASK AN EXPERT's consultants are called experts. They are highly trained in their field and through them, ASK AN EXPERT not only provide answers but teaches by providing the fundamental principles and assumptions used to arrive at the answer.
ASK AN EXPERT's Model
1.) Consumer asks a technical question and indicates when they need an answer
2.) ASK AN EXPERT routes the question to the appropriate technical experts
3.) The expert quotes a service fee for the answer based on the effort to develop the answer.
4.) The customer chooses the expert and pays the service fee
JOB DESCRIPTION
The consulting experts in ASK AN EXPERT will have the following duties:
-Provide accurate answers to consumers technical questions
-Support answers with detailed fundamental principles and sound and justifiable assumptions.
-Provide, in a consistent manner, time estimates to answer questions to aid in billing functions
-Support investigations and resolution to challenges consumers make to earlier answers provided.
-Deliver answers in a timely fashion
Compensation is based on the quantity of incoming questions, service fees and expert dues.
QUALIFICATIONS
Graduate degree (PhD is preferred) or demonstrated extensive experience and competency in the following areas:
-Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial, etc)
-Chemistry
-Math
-AccountingEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
