Customer Service Sales Consultant

Career Transitions, LLC is working with a client who is seeking a Sales Consultant. The client is located near Rochester Hills, MI and is one of the worlds' largest manufacturers in their industry. This is a full-time, direct hire position.
SUMMARY:
Represents the company's after-market products and services to automotive accounts, tier one automotive suppliers, and/or general industry accounts.
Identifies opportunities, develops relationships, and generates after-market sales to increase profitability and market share.
Sells robots and system-related after-market products and services, develops and maintains long-term business relationships and provides feedback to customer service group to improve customer relationships.
Effectively presents after-market products and services to new and existing customers. Identifies potential new accounts, customers, contacts, and new market opportunities.
Develops quote packages for customers and field service personnel.
Initiates technical support contact to respond to customers or to complete proposals.
Forecasts after-market sales volumes and assists in strategic planning activities.
Monitors the competition's products and services and notifies management of benchmarks.
Reviews purchase orders for accuracy, authorization, and supporting documentation.
Cooperates with all internal departments in order to achieve overall targets.
Monitors quotes, sales, and project status to track after-market sales performance and on-going project activities.
Assists in collection activities related to sold after-market products.
Travels to customer sites and on general business errands. Both domestic and international travel required.
Adheres to quality system and follows safety regulations. Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor degree and 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Customer service fundamentals for phone and face-to-face contact
Strong computer skills
Presentation skills and ability to respond to questions from management and customers
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business correspondence, technical procedures and manuals, requests for quotes
Ability to write reports, general business correspondence, procedure manuals, proposals, presentations, and sales arguments
Ability to identify and prioritize opportunities
Ability to frequently travel domestically and to occasionally travel inter-continentally and internationally for periods of varying length
Strong planning and organizational skills
Valid driver's license
Valid Passport

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
