- Provide personal assistance and support to individuals with developmental disabilities or autism.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for the individual.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Monitor and record vital signs as directed by a nurse or healthcare professional.
- Provide hospice care and support to individuals in need.
- Prepare meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Assist with heavy lifting or transferring of individuals as needed.
Requirements:
- Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of ADLs and ability to provide personal care assistance.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Experience working with nurses or healthcare professionals in monitoring vital signs is a plus.
- Ability to provide hospice care and support is desired.
- Proficiency in meal preparation according to dietary restrictions.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting or transferring of individuals when necessary.
