com The primary responsibility for this position is to assist with inventory data and purchasing.
Job
Responsibilities:
Inventory control monitoring- audit daily usage and scanning discrepancies of manufacturing components.
Process direct ship OD- Verify correct supplier and pricing, process OD, and send to the appropriate customer service rep.
Place restocking orders for factory supplies.
Issue purchase orders as directed by supervisor, and fulfill various departments purchase requisitions.
Maintain the Grainger Keepstock vending machine process.
Add new employees, perform any needed adjustment for existing employees, and monitor weekly usage and expense.
Maintain filing of purchase orders and assist with finance on any invoicing discrepancies.
Audit Shop Floor and Warehouse location for accuracy of parts showing in JDE as needed.
Monitor and audit unassembled stock levels and verify accuracy of counts as needed.
Complete ISW forms as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Comply with all policies contained in the Employee Handbook.

Qualifications:

Education:
Associates degree in Business or related field preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years direct experience in a manufacturing environment working with production reports and schedules.
Must be proficient at problem solving and be able to make logical decisions quickly and effectively.
SAP or JDE experience preferred.
Skills:
Problem analysis and problem resolution ability.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Communication:
Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
Must have the ability collect and analyze data, and prepare concise reports summarizing the findings of work.
Must have the ability to prepare and deliver oral and visual presentations.
Ability to effectively communicate to employees at all levels of the organization.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
