Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the dental office - Schedule and confirm patient appointments using dental software systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or eClinicalWorks - Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or concerns - Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information - Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims - Collect and process payments from patients - Maintain a clean and organized reception area - Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality Skills:
- Proficient in medical terminology and dental office procedures - Strong administrative skills, including data entry, filing, and record keeping - Knowledge of dental software systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or eClinicalWorks - Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices - Excellent customer service and communication skills to interact with patients in a professional manner - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment As a Dental Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office.
Your administrative skills and knowledge of dental procedures will contribute to providing excellent patient service.
