Non-Exempt, Part-Time, 10 hours/week The Front Office Assistant will serve as a key contributor to parish by welcoming, greeting, and assisting visitors.
Additional responsibilities include answering the phones, handling mail, data entry, paperwork, and other clerical services.
Key
Responsibilities:
Receive visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately.
Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.
Assist with new parishioner registration, outreach, and sacramental needs.
Schedule Mass intentions as requested.
Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries.
Assist with bulk mailings as needed.
Maintain office/building security by following safety procedures and controlling access to designated areas.
Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as data entry, word processing, filing, photocopying, faxing, etc.
Assist Pastor and Parish Staff in other collaborative projects as time and need allows.
Qualifications:
Available to work Monday afternoons into evening and 1 other half day (morning or afternoon).
Professional attitude and appearance.
Solid written and verbal communication skills Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
Excellent organizational skills.
Firsthand experience with office equipment (e.
g.
, computer, copier, postage machine, etc.
).
Must be willing to work in a Christian environment.
Must pass background check and be able to obtain Protecting God's Children training.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
